The background of BVJ's founder, Bruce A. Bednarski, is varied and diverse and includes working as an Associate Software Engineer for Raytheon developing software for the Patriot SAM-D Surface to Air Missile Defensive system and other projects.

In the capacity of Associate Software Engineer (Secret Clearance), Bruce had the following responsibilities:

1. software design
2. programing and testing with actual hardware and simulators
3. technical lead
4. documentation
5. maintenance
6. support

The following specific duties were performed by Bruce:

• Technical lead for I1 build of Communications and Display software (WCC software)
• Advanced TRS Analysis package with linear and log histograms, sorts and statistical reports (IBM 370)
• Testing programs for Data Acquisition and Bay Environment Hardware (Datacraft 6024/5)
• Radar search control, correlation, validation, tracking, smoothing and predicting, engagement decision and weapons assignment (all WCC programs)
